COMPANY PROFILE
FAUVE FILM is a Montreal-based film production company founded by director & producer Marlene Edoyan in 2012. Fauve Film specializes in creative feature documentary productions and supports author-driven social and political projects that have a unique vision. With a focus on telling stories of lesser-known communities, the films explore complex issues by combining original point of view with strong cinematographic storytelling.
With a background in film and media studies, Marlene started her career as an artistic director for internationally co-produced animated films. For the last 14 years, Marlene has been working in the Canadian Film industry, creating and collaborating with award winning filmmakers and producers on documentaries for television, festivals and theatrical release. She has participated in international producer's workshops and labs such as EURODOC, SODEC_LAB@CPH:DOX, and was part of the Canadian Showcase at the Doc Corner of the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes 2019.

Marlene Edoyan est une cinéaste et productrice documentaire basée à Montréal. Formée en études médiatiques, Marlène débute sa carrière comme directrice de production et directrice artistique pour des films et des télé séries d’animation pour enfants, coproduits à l’international. Depuis quatorze ans, Marlène travaille dans l’industrie du cinéma et de la télévision canadienne, collaborant avec des cinéastes et des producteurs primés pour créer des documentaires sociopolitiques diffusés à la télévision, en festival et en salle. Pour prolonger son vif intérêt envers la notion de géographie humaine ainsi que les relations unissant sociétés et espace, Marlene fonde Fauve Film en 2012.
